I was born with a love of flowers as early as I can remember, and I was constantly dreaming of walking through rows of beautiful flowers. After ten years of crossing lilies, I learned that my God given name "Suzanne" means "Lilly; Brilliant; Pure". When my husband, Bobby, and I decided to move to the North Georgia mountains in 1996 I was looking for rich soil for my flowers. We found it nestled in the Dawsonville mountains! 15 acres with 3 streams that flow into a lake at the back of our property. With the new property, I started becoming more serious about hybridizing and now over the past 21 years my vision has been to make Jungle Paradise a peaceful, fun place, for all ages to visit. We have many beautiful shade trees and even a play area for children. We have the large pavilion with tiki hut for small parties and public restrooms nearby. We also have a golf cart that we call the "Paradise Buggy" to take tours of the gardens. I am a Master Gardener and have almost any kind of flower you can imagine here in Jungle Paradise; tropical, wildflowers, and perennials with over one hundred different azaleas, rhododendrons and camellias. We even have Palm, Pomegranate, and Banana trees here in North Georgia! Our season runs from March to October; Beautiful flowers start around Easter and continue throughout the year until October. Daylily season begins Late May/ Early June until Mid/ Late July.
