About Suzanne Franklin
I was born with a love of flowers as early as I can remember. I was constantly dreaming of walking through rows of beautiful flowers. Later in life, I learned my name "Suzanne" means "Lilly; Brilliant; Pure". When my husband (Bobby) and I decided to move to the north Georgia mountains in 1996, I was looking for rich soil for my flowers. We found it! 14 acres with 3 streams that flow into a small lake.
I started becoming more serious about hybridizing and after 25 years my husband has caught the fever also. My vision was to turn Jungle Paradise into a magnificent, fun place to visit for all ages. We have many beautiful shade trees and play areas for children and I have 4 children and 5 grand children that I dearly love. We also have a golf cart that we call the "Jungle Buggy" to take tours of the gardens.
I am a Master Gardner and have almost any kind of flower you can think of here at Jungle Paradise; tropical, wildflowers, perennials to name a few. Over one hundred different azaleas, rhododendrons and camellias are abundant. Our season runs from February to November; June is the peak of the Daylily season.
